Rose has joined the Forget Me Not family and is looking for her forever senior hooman.

She came from the Bakersfield City shelter and is 6 years old. She weighs all of 6 pounds.

She's a very sweet little girl, with a bit of sass. She gets along with other dogs.

Allie came to us when her mother needed to go into assisted living and was unable to take her.

Allie is a senior herself at 17 years old. She's a happy little girl that gets around great, uses a doggy door, and does amazingly well.

Members of our Forget Me Not Rescue crew rounded up this German Shepherd some time back, way out off of Bear Mountain boulevard. He was so happy to find friends to take him in! We have had him neutered and he is UTD on all shots. Since we couldnt place him with one of our seniors in a small efficiency apartment we hired a trainer to come and work with him a bit.

Tawny is 4 years old. She was displaced when her elderly owner passed away. She is on a diet because she is a bit heavy. She is very sweet and loves to snuggle. Think of the fun you can have with her, motivating her to move and play with an interactive toy. The play exercise will help her to lose weight. She also has the most amazing green eyes!

Pugsley is a 10 year old gentleman who is looking for a new a new friend. He is happy and healthy and likes to take walks but is also just as happy to sit on the couch and watch television with you. He walks well on a leash and is an excellent health. Although he is tolerant of other dogs he does not care for them and prefers the company of his human friend. He would do better in a single dog household. He is waiting for just the right senior to step up and ask to be his friend. This is Dolly our latest little rescue 🐾💜
Her parents were elderly and mama passed away. Daddy could not take care of her on his own and asked his Vet to take her.
Cooke's vet called us and asked us if we could take her on. How could we say no? She is broken-hearted right now and missing her family.
We are hoping she will have a new low income senior mom, dad, or both, to love shortly.

Lulu’s dad passed away and she is looking for a senior to call her very own.

Lulu is 5 years old and weighs 13 pounds. She's very sweet and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people.

Lulu’s favorite thing to do is snuggle. She's a little timid at first but warms right up.

Joni came to us from the Bakersfield city shelter. Joni is 2 years old and has put on a little weight now so weighs 14 pounds!

She's a happy little girl she loves other dogs and loves to play but her favorite thing to do is snuggle.

Someone said we should have named her Angel because she is all white except she has two little marks on her back that look just like angel wings!

We think she is a little angel. Joni is looking for her very special senior. If you know of a senior that might love a little dog like Joni please let us know!
